WORK
The Performance Theatre exposes corporate leaders and influencers to challenging thinkers, doers and performers via the medium of theatre and the arts. I led its communications and creative in 2013-14 and 2017-19, and consider the 2018 creative a career highlight. Click to view.
The Berlin/Potsdam 2018 Performance Theatre featured my foray into magical experience design. Professor Richard Wiseman provided a magic-themed talk ahead of a session on fake news, and a ‘magic’ pop-up library created an apparently synchronistic pay-off.

The Leadership Vanguard is a project incubation and leadership development programme for future CEOs. I led its communications and creative from 2015-17. I’m particularly proud of the London 2016 creative motif and photography: my manifesto for change! Click to view.
I relish a good, geeky technical edit or task. I’ve researched, edited, written and strategised about topics spanning cement, steel, single-ply roofing, ducks and grass. I love learning about a new niche topic from experts, and applying an industry term or acronym or two!
‘The future of work’ has literally and metaphorically permeated my pandemic-freelance-life. A future of work report and brand/creative project for a multinational was a highlight, and I’m valued for pushing the boundaries of what you can and can’t say to corporate clients.
I’ve created and managed editorial style guides for all my past employers. Breaking my leg just as I was due to update my last guide irked me so much that, after leaving the company, I consolidated all my knowledge into a foundational guide that I now customise for clients.
I became an editor aged 23 and launch editor of a co-created magazine a year later. My time in beauty, spa and wellness was a blast. But more than anything, it instilled the disciplines and rhythms of publishing… as well as my yearnings for perfect binding and spot UV!
I share the credit for the beautiful, impactful work glimpsed here with a remarkable bunch of collaborators, from colleagues in events and programming, to DMCs, artists, printers and photographers. Special thanks goes to oneagency.co and Liz and Paul for the best of it.
